About Dinner In Real Time
About Dinner in Real Time: Kate developed Dinner in Real Time as a home cook, determined to get dinner on the table despite scheduling challenges, picky palates, and myriad distractions. Dinner in Real Time menu ideas and layouts are developed and tested in Kate’s own very active kitchen. Kate makes all her food gluten free due to celiac disease and all recipes at Dinner in Real Time are either gluten free or easily adaptable to become gluten free. She is excited to have you join her in the kitchen!

Whether you only have twenty minutes or an hour—or something in between—you can deliver a delicious entrée and side dish to the table with these quick, easy, and crowd-pleasing recipes. Organized by “available time” rather than by “kind of dish,” this unique cookbook is designed to help the time-conscious cook with dinner planning.
About Kate
Kate Otterstrom, Author
Formally trained as a scientist and an attorney, Kate employs a very intentional and critical method of recipe development and menu planning. Additionally, her nearly 16 years in the trenches of parenthood have given her invaluable perspectives in nourishing herself and her family. In spare time, which, really, is as rare as the proverbial hen’s teeth, Kate enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, cultivating her flower garden, and experimenting with music.
Inge Otterstrom, illustrator
Inge is interested in exploring just about any form of visual art, although her favorites include animation, digital art, sketching, and earring making. Inge enjoys learning new styles and developing her own designs. Besides art, Inge enjoys spending time in the forest and near the water, laughing with friends, and traveling when she has the opportunity. You can find her work on Instagram @arro_artz and @arro_doodlez
